This Shipping and Delivery Policy outlines the terms and conditions for the delivery of products purchased from Cycleworld, both through our physical retail store and our e-commerce platform. We are committed to providing a transparent and fair shipping process in compliance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and New South Wales fair trading regulations.
1. General Shipping Information
- Delivery Locations: Cycleworld ships to addresses within Australia. We do not currently offer international shipping.
- Shipping Carriers: We use reputable third-party shipping carriers to deliver your orders. The specific carrier used will depend on the size, weight, and destination of your order.
- Shipping Costs:
- Shipping costs are calculated based on the size, weight, and destination of your order.
- Shipping costs will be displayed clearly at the checkout before you complete your purchase.
- From time to time, Cycleworld may offer free shipping promotions. Any such promotions will be clearly advertised.
- Processing Time:
- Orders are typically processed on the same day of receiving cleared payment.
- Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
- During peak seasons or sale periods, processing times may be slightly longer. We will endeavour to keep you informed of any significant delays.
- Estimated Delivery Times:
- Delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping carrier.
- As a general guide, estimated delivery times are:
- Sydney Metro: 1-3 business days
- Regional NSW: 2-5 business days
- Interstate (Metro Areas): 3-7 business days
- Interstate (Regional Areas): 5-10 business days
- Please note that these are estimates only and actual delivery times may vary due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather conditions, carrier delays). Cycleworld is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier.
- Tracking Your Order: Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number and a link to track your parcel.
2. Delivery Procedures
- Signature on Delivery: For security purposes, many of our deliveries will require a signature upon receipt. If you are not available to sign for your delivery, the carrier will typically leave a card with instructions on how to arrange re-delivery or collect your parcel from a local depot.
- Authority to Leave: In some instances, at your discretion during checkout, you may be able to provide an "Authority to Leave" the parcel without a signature. If you choose this option, Cycleworld and the shipping carrier are not responsible for any loss or damage to the parcel after it has been left at your nominated delivery address.
- Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses: It is your responsibility to ensure that the shipping address provided is accurate and complete. Cycleworld is not responsible for delays or non-delivery due to incorrect or incomplete address details provided by the customer. Additional shipping fees may apply for re-delivery attempts due to incorrect address information.
3. Click & Collect (In-Store Pickup)
- Cycleworld offers a free "Click & Collect" service for online orders.
- During checkout, you can select the "Pick up in store" option.
- You will receive an email notification when your order is ready for collection at our store located at 317 Concord Rd, Concord West, NSW.
- Please bring a copy of your order confirmation and photo identification when collecting your order.
4. Damaged or Lost Items During Shipping
- Damage in Transit: If your order arrives damaged, please do not sign for it if possible, and take clear photos of the damaged packaging and product immediately. Contact our sales team at sales@cycleworld.com.au or (02) 9739 6530 within 48 hours of delivery to report the damage. We will guide you through the process of lodging a claim with the shipping carrier and arranging a replacement or refund as per your rights under the ACL.
- Lost in Transit: If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery timeframe, please check your tracking information first. If there are no updates or the parcel appears lost, please contact our sales team at sales@cycleworld.com.au or (02) 9739 6530. We will initiate an investigation with the shipping carrier to locate your parcel. In the event that the parcel is confirmed lost, we will arrange for a replacement or refund.
5. Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
- Our Shipping and Delivery Policy operates in conjunction with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude any rights or guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL.
- Under the ACL, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
